Adi has been maiing monitors for some years now and its latest model, the Microscan i610, performs as well as it looks. The 15in TFT display may sound below average for a monitor of this price, and you could certainly pick up a 19in CRT monitor for alot less but with this model, the screen is completely visible. an LCD display is that it has a poor viewing angle – move too far from a central position in front of the display and the image becomes invisible. The Microscan A610 demolishes this completely with an excellent 160 degree field of view, both horizontally and vertically. It’s effectively as good as a CRT, and means that other people can crowd behind you and see precisely what you’re doing. Or at least, that’s how it ought to be.
