bill as I wanted a minimum of 1280x1024 resolution. I opted for the AOC LM720A and I am glad I did so. I have used AOC equipment in the past and in fact, still have a 12" CRT of theirs that I use every so often when I want to build/re-build one of my servers. The LM720A has certainly proved itself already, it provides a clear, crisp image - brightness is good and easily modified via the simple on screen display (OSD). Screen response is also very good - something you need to check carefully when moving from CRT to TFT, particularly if you intend to watch DVD's or play fast-moving games - I use mine for the former, rather than the latter and again, cannot ...

computer is the processing of photographs, mostly digital, and some pulled from a Sony digital camcorder. Obvously I had a demo before purchase but nothing prepared me for the leap in quality that came. Installation was simplicity itself, every aspect such as contrast, brightness & colour was self adjusting and the results are simply stunning. In photographic work you dont need any form of distortion such as seems to occur with C.R.T. monitors i.e. such as slight curves on what should be straight lines or slightly uncircular circles or the picture mildly pulled in one corner.
