Advantages: Clarity, Vivid colour, Compact

Disadvantages: None

I have just bought the first cousin of this screen the LM721A. For reasons of space Ive recently switched from a normal C.R.T. Monitor to a 17in LCD Flatscreen.
My primary use of my computer is the processing of photographs, mostly digital, and some pulled from a Sony digital camcorder. Obvously I had a demo before purchase but nothing prepared me for the leap in quality that came. Installation was simplicity itself, every aspect such as contrast, brightness & colour was self adjusting and the results are simply stunning. In photographic work you dont need any form of distortion such as seems to occur with C.R.T. monitors i.e. such as slight curves on what should be straight lines or slightly uncircular circles or the picture mildly pulled in one corner.
This product has no such drawbacks. The colour is vivid, without being garish, the brightness and contrast perfect. Another plus point is that the focus is consistent over the whole screen with no softening at the edges. Plus, of course, it is much more economical to run and generates no heat. I would urge anyone in the market for a new screen to try one.
