A traditional CRT monitor, monitor shelf, keyboard, and keyboard drawer require between 11U and 13U of rack space. The slim design of APC rack-mount LCD monitor/keyboard drawers offers the same functionality while utilizing only 1U (1.75") of rack space. By saving as much as 12U of free space, more room for servers and networking equipment is made available.
