If you want a monitor to fit the design of a Mac, go for it!

The first computer I owned that was mine & mine alone was an Apple Cube - it was old & slow, but one thing I really loved about it was the display. It was beautifully designed (like the Cube) and did it's job like a dream (unlike the Cube). 17 inches may seem a little small in today's world of dual screen monsters, but this display was designed for creative professionals, so resolution is more important than size. It displays everything beautifully, but the screen shape may be a little square for those of us used to a more rectangular display.

Unfortunately, I never really got to test out any high end graphics programs due to the low power of the Cube & the connector was specially designed for the Cube so I couldn't connect it to a more modern computer without buying a pretty pricey adaptor. I guess this lack of compatibility is the major killer in this deal. However, the price is pretty low compared to competitors - I picked mine up for ~£100, but that was a few years ago.
