I bought this not really expecting anything brilliant, this monitor is amazing, easy to set up, had no DVI-D cable but i wasn't bothered about that. The picture quality is great, games like Counter Strike Source and Battlefield 2 look great. If you have a CRT monitor and are thinking of upgrading then this is a perfect one to buy.

The BenQ FP73G LCD monitor features a super slim bezel design, super picture quality, an ultra-fast 6ms response time, a high contrast ratio of 700: 1 and D-Sub/ DVI dual input for maximum compatibility.

The new BenQ 17-inch FP73G LCD monitor offers users an optimum viewing space with its ultra-narrow 12mm side bezel design. The ultra-narrow bezel allows the distance between images to shrink to a mere 24mm/26mm when multiple displays are placed side-by-side, yielding greater productivity and convenient viewing of large amounts of data. This makes BenQ's display ideal for professional applications such as finance, health care and research, and communications centers. It is great for home entertainment, computer graphics, and desktop publishing applications as well.

The BenQ FP73G offers an ultra-fast 6ms response time which ensures better performance of video playback and produce flawless fast-moving action scenes with no ghosting or quirks. Apart from its ultra-fast response time, this monitor also features a high contrast ratio of 700: 1 and a brightness of 300 cd/m2 enabling the most finely detailed images on your screen and all text easy to view in even brightly lit environments.

Furthermore, the FP73G BenQ LCD Monitor is equipped with both traditional D-Sub and next-generation DVI input support, providing the best possible picture quality and video performance regardless of whether you are working with analog or digital input.
