the standard fluorescent bulbs that most LCD s use, especially when working in poor lighting conditions. LED bulbs will make your monitor last much longer too as the lifespan of the bulbs are longer. The overall viewing experience on this monitor is great. I connect via the DVI cable to play my Xbox360 games. I love Forza, and man, Forza 3 looks amazing on this monitor. It gives 1080p a new definition. DVD viewing is also remarkable, I was testing Monster s Inc and Toy Story 3, the colors pop out quite well and make it seem like you re watching it in a mini theater. This monitor is definitely recommended to those who enjoy high definition but want it at a budget ...

That being said, in terms of value for money, this has been one of the best purchases I ve made. It cost around £150 when I bought it, and after 10 months, is still going strong. The response time of ~5ms is pretty good for a budget monitor, and the field of view is quite expansive too. Colour can at times appear over-saturated, but in general I ve had no complaints with regards image quality. Recently the cable connection ...
