In my opinion this is the best 120 Hz gaming monitor out in the market at the moment. If you don't believe me go on forums and see what they are saying about this monitor. It's a bliss playing on it because it's one of the most adjustable gaming monitors out there without sacrificing the build quality. FPS gaming is absolutely smooth without faults or lags and is smooth as a baby's bottom. The LG and Asus versions are relatively similar in what they offer but they feel cheaply made and lots have complained about the reliability of the units. Although white LED backlit is supposed to wash out the colors, it seems relatively decent on this monitor. Not too washed out or aggressive/domineering on one color over others, pretty balanced on that. The blacks could be a bit darker, but that's about it. Backlight bleeding is almost nonexistent on my unit, but unit to unit may vary so I don't want to promise others that theirs will be the same + keep in mind each person's perception and judgment of the degree of backlight bleeding will vary on your environment and self judgment. Overall I do think this is, if not one of the best, but in the top tier of 120 Hz gaming monitors.
