Very Good Must Read (Dell E176FP)
Member Name: gunnerz
Advantages: Crisp picture quality Disadvantages: No sound bar I have had this monitor for over 3 years and its still going strong despite the fact that this was part of Dell's value range. At the time I bought this monitor it was on offer for £120 which was incredible value at the time of purchase although it can be bought for £40 on ebay. The maximum resolution is 1280x1024 therefore it isn't HD although it can view HD videos assuming that the graphics card installed in your PC is capable of viewing HD videos. The response time is slow but considering that this monitor was designed for office use I cannot fault it for blurring during high action videos and anyway this is normal on most LCD televisions. Special brackets can be bought from dell that allow the bottom base to be disconnected and instead lets it hang from a wall which saves even more space. The maximum hertz is 60 which is around 30fps which should be able to view graphic intense games such as World of Warcraft easily without blur. The only downside is the fact that the screen doesn't come with a sound bar but there are matching Dell speakers which are cheap and sound pretty good which I have also reviewed. Overall this is a very good monitor for business purpose but if you require speakers it may be better to upgrade to an edition with a sound bar. Summary: Very good for regular users
