that you frequently only find in professional monitors. It adjusts perfectly well and stable in its height and can be rotated by 90° to reach the connectors easily. I have tested both DVI and analogue input; switching forth and back on a dual-output VGA card and can confirm that there is not much of a difference (depending on the quality of your card, of course), a proof of the quality of the analogue input (in case you intend to use it). My only gripe: at boot, it tends to misinterpret some resolution change and blank out. Then I need to switch inputs forth and back. I have no experience with fast games, though. If you want a screen with uniform brightness, go for this ...

The original deal which I had seen advertised in a magazine was £499.99 and that was with a CRT monitor. For my pig ignorant fellow travellers, that means the old fashioned variety that looks like a TV. The ever so friendly sales person, bless him, suggested, with lusty commission in his voice, that I might want to spend an extra 50 quid and get a 19” LCD Flat Screen monitor.
