Advantages: Clarity, height adjustable, small frame.

Disadvantages: Not the best for DVDs but excellent text

This came with my new Dimension 5100 Desktop. It's a real cracker of a TFT, very clear with graphics, text and pictures. OK with DVDs but there are probably better options out there if that is your most important use.

The 1704 has the height adjustable stand which is sturdy and very easy to use.

Also comes with DVI and VGA connectors and a USB lead to turn the screen into a USB 2.0 hub.

All in all an excellent product.

Summary: Very clear screen, small bezel, height adjustable.
