problem I had with the monitor is the power button. I have to turn my monitor on and off a lot when I leave my desk, and now the power button is loose and hard to press in for the monitor to register. They gave me a new monitor a few months ago, and the button is still going strong on that one. I m not sure how long it takes for the button to start acting up, but I m sure for everyday home use, that wouldn t be a problem. Dell is a very good brand, and they really produced a great monitor. I use it to dual screen as i am studying engineering so i can have written work on my normal screen and be so computer aided design on the Dell . This set up i use as an extended desktop and the dells compatibility allows me to have one resolution on one screen and different resolution on another screen. I have no fault with this screen. The quality cannot be knocked. Also the screen has a few pre-sets for gaming or browsing photos or watching movies, etc. One of the few problems is that because it is a bigger screen it takes up a lot more room and more surface area to clean. Belive me i had a lg with 19 response and was a nightmare to play, it was like you have 20 beers and missed a couple of nights......all blurrrr working- well im a video maker and i need a big screen to edit, that the main thing that made me go and buy this beuty, the quality of image is very good, somethimes a bit too bright but you get used, the important is that the coulors are ocurrate, and not fake like some tfts.
