I've got one of these on my desktop PC at home and have to say I find it absolutely superb. Great, sharp picture quality combined with its size means that I don't need my glasses. A good looking monitor that's never let me down. I'm a big fan of Dell products in general for their superb build quality and their great customer service - I've always found the call centre to be particularly helpful when ordering Dell peripherals, hardware or consumables, and they really reward business customer loyalty. I use this monitor at my work, and I am very happy with it. I find that this monitor has a very crisp picture, and is big enough for me to look at all day. I have my setting on a 1024 x 768 setting, but there is also a 1280 x 1024 that gives it an even more crisp picture. The border of the monitor is very thin, which is good because it takes up less space on your desk The settings are pretty straight forward. The buttons are on the bottom right hand side of the monitor, and you have the options to change the brightness, contrast, positioning, color, etc. The only problem I had with the monitor is the power button. Their are a couple reasons why i got such i big monitor. Number one, to play games at very high resolutions and to enjoy wonders of the highest quality hd videos. I use it to dual screen as i am studying engineering so i can have written work on my normal screen and be so computer aided design on the Dell. This set up i use as an extended desktop and the dells compatibility allows me to have one resolution on one screen and different resolution on another screen. I have no fault with this screen.
