Dell S2409W ... Dell s2409w is a brilliant monitor for a range of uses. Personally i have it connected to my PS3 and my computer and it looks brilliant on both. This monitor is 1080p so is perfectly suited for use with a games console that displays HD games in 16:9 so you don;t get any screen strech like with a conventional computer monitor. Overall the quality of the picture it very good it has bright whites and dark blacks with a little back light bleed but isn t too noticable. It has a very quick response time so there is no ghosting just a clear crisp picture. Dell S2409W ... purchased this monitor primarily for use as a second display for my MacBook, from what I could gather at the time it was essentially a "budget" monitor from Dell, lacking some of the features found in it s higher end counterparts (such as USB Hub, Built-in Speakers). Although don t let this put you off, when you consider that it is (at time of purchase) hundreds of £ s cheaper than these higher end models. When I opened up the box my first impressions were that this thing was huge, I hadn t quite realised how big a 24-inch monitor would be up close, so it took a bit of re-shuffling of my desk to get it to fit. Dell Ultrasharp 2009W ... of the monitor, and you have the options to change the brightness, contrast, positioning, color, etc. The only problem I had with the monitor is the power button. I have to turn my monitor on and off a lot when I leave my desk, and now the power button is loose and hard to press in for the monitor to register. They gave me a new monitor a few months ago, and the button is still going strong on that one. I m not sure how long it takes for the button to start acting up, but I m sure for everyday home use, that wouldn t be a problem. Dell is a very good brand, and they really produced a great monitor.
