Crisp images, no visible ghosting and great colors are the first things that spring to mind about this monitor. I have been using this 17" TFT monitor for over a year now, and I am quite pleased with its performance. I have watched DVDs, and played fast paced games on it and not noticed any ghosting. The response time of 25ms is more than adequate for this. There is an onscreen OSD which lets you control brightness, contrast etc, but you shouldn't need to use it as the default settings are fine.
