This monitor came with a package PC that we bought about five or six years. The computer itself died on us long ago however this has trooped on and survived allowing me to save on having to purchase a new monitor when i did my PC build. I think anyone who needs just an average computer monitor with no frills will be very pleased with this.
The monitor when i first got it was very big at the time 19" was pretty much the biggest available and at the time the PC was top spec so we got the decent monitor and quite honestly it's size is still sufficient for every day use, you may want to go larger if you use it for TV or films but browsing the internet and office documents this is perfectly adequate.
The display on the monitor is 1280 x 1024 very respectable for it's time and this is still fairly good, although the monitor itself is not actually HD I think that the average PC user will be pleasantly surprised how good the quality of it is, especially in consideration of its age.
I will state the obvious just in case i mislead people by mentioning the "HD" word, the monitor is not HD and does only have VGA cable to plug into the PC but this is still good enough and a lot of older PC's don't even have the necessary HDMI ports.
reliability is a great thing in this monitor, over that past 5 or 6 years i cannot see any depreciation of the quality of the image on the display nor has it picked up any noticeable chips, cracks or any other type of blemish that these devices can often get.
In summary i think this is a great monitor and that you will definitely be buying a product that you can trust to last.
