A stable first widescreen ideal for the average computer user

Cost is the key to this monitor not high performance, don't buy this if your going to be watching Blu ray films.

This screen was my first step into widescreen computing going to this from an old 15" 4.3, the change was incredible deeper blacks, richer colors and higher contrast. Screen resolution is low compared to others but if this is your first "big" screen then I doubt you'll be able to notice any issues. After gaming for well over two years using this, I can say that there is no ghosting or image tear making this good for high fps games such as CSS. Discrete speakers are in this screen, if you have dedicated speakers I would use them instead.

Controls for the power switch are located on the right side of the monitor, just out of sight but easy to reach; the location of this may be the only issue with this screen as it makes adjusting the settings slightly difficult.

When comparing this to a larger more expensive screen the difference does show, quite significantly with features such as resolution and brightness, nevertheless a good screen within the price range. Ideal for those looking for a budget multi screen set up.

In the box you get a VGA cable NOT a DVI cable.
