itsgreg HP W19ev
... got this monitor about a year ago after my previous monitor broke. The w19ev is a 19 inch widescreen monitor made by HP. At the time of buying the monitor, it was fairly cheap. I am not sure if it is still manufactured today, but for the sake of HP - I hope it isn t. The speakers are pretty much pointless as they don t work properly. To make them work, you need to have your headphones plugged in halfway to the headphone port. I don t see why they didn t just leave the speakers out! If you move the monitor slightly, then the power plug at the back of the monitor decides to make a horrible sparky type noise then the screen goes black. To solve this you have to push the ...

... originally received a 15 inch monitor with my computer when i bought it all those years ago in 2003. With technology everchanging its difficult to keep up, however luckily monitors dont ever really change too much. They get cheaper and clearer but do not develop anywhere near as fast as the computers to are connected to. My monitor however decided that after being moved from University to home and vice versa many times it would start to play up and change colour randomly. I therefore decided to purchase a new one. I found myself browsing the John lewis selection when this one caught my eye, it was clear, bright and seemed to produce a far clearer picture than the rest...

... only bought this monitor because at the time HP were doing a £50 cashback offer, and it was £180 on Dabs, so I knew I was getting a bargain. I was originally planning on just ebaying it after the offer had expired, as it turned out that it was a one day only price, and the next day the monitor was up to nearer the £300 mark. Oh how glad I am that I didn t sell it on ebay though, it s an absolutely wonderful monitor. The colours are great, it s brilliant for watching a film on (being 20" it s ample for that), It ll go up to 1680x1050 in resolution, which makes keeping multiple windows open at once a breeze. The only annoying thing is that 1680x1050 doesn t appe...
