We have had this monitor for a few months now and it has been great. I will let you read the specs from the item description, but here is what I think... Having updated from a laptop to a desk top I suppose the difference in all things was going to be a great improvement, but I must say that when I occasionally dig the old laptop out it is the screen that stands out as being substandard by comparison. Similarly, my square monitor at work drives me crazy, now I have this one at home. The 2159v is a perfect size, I feel. It is a spacious, panoramic screen that is good for the way we see, because it is wide enough to fill a comfortable proportion of our field of sight without becoming uncomfortable. You can, therefore, have multiple windows open at once. The picture is crisp and highly defined and bright and is good for photos, games and films. It is also thin, so does not take up the whole depth of your desk.
