I bought this to replace a 17 inch CRT monitor and oh my; what an improvement! It is so much easier to read text on the screen and everything is clearer and easier on the eye. This is a fairly recent model and so has very good brightness and contrast; which is something the earlier LCD monitors were not very good at. The styling of the case is such that it takes up the minimal desk space and has a narrow border all the way round the screen which I think makes it look very neat.
