I bought this product as an extra screen for my laptop (bought from PC world: in store, terrible service, probberly lack of staff). It works very well with my laptop, and when my mate borrowed it, it projected the image so clearly and with the array of brightness and contrast settings it can suit all tastes. There is an auto function aswell which lets the screen adjust itself to best fit the programme which is running. It could have been hurled down a flight of stairs, and I m sure that there still wouldn t have been a mark on it. I got this monitor about a year ago after my previous monitor broke. The w19ev is a 19 inch widescreen monitor made by HP. At the time of buying the monitor, it was fairly cheap. I am not sure if it is still manufactured today, but for the sake of HP - I hope it isn t. The speakers are pretty much pointless as they don t work properly. To make them work, you need to have your headphones plugged in halfway to the headphone port. I don t see why they didn t just leave the speakers out!
