I bought this product as an extra screen for my laptop (bought from PC world: in store, terrible service, probberly lack of staff). It works very well with my laptop, and when my mate borrowed it, it projected the image so clearly and with the array of brightness and contrast settings it can suit all tastes. There is an auto function aswell which lets the screen adjust itself to best fit the programme which is running. I bought this screen after alot of research into screens because in the price range £100 to £150 it has one of the fastest refresh times. The build quality is great, it is securely pieced together with a sturdy frame and stiff angle setter to keep the ...

are bright. Upon taking the monitor out of the box, I was astounded by the stupendous amount of effort that had been put into protecting this monitor in the packaging. It could have been hurled down a flight of stairs, and I m sure that there still wouldn t have been a mark on it. I was shocked by the volume of the speakers, considering that you can t even see them. They re nicely hidden away. Having said this, when you turn the volume up a ...

I got this monitor about a year ago after my previous monitor broke. The w19ev is a 19 inch widescreen monitor made by HP. At the time of buying the monitor, it was fairly cheap. I am not sure if it is still manufactured today, but for the sake of HP - I hope it isn t. The speakers are pretty much pointless as they don t work properly. To make them work, you need to have your headphones plugged in halfway to the headphone port. I don t see why they didn t just leave the speakers out! If you move the monitor slightly, then the power plug at the back of the monitor decides to make a horrible sparky type noise then the screen goes black. To solve this you have to push the ...
