This Monitor was great when i first bought it, it was fast, and high quality.
The problems occured about a year after i bought it and, blackouts started happening.
The thing was ok for a week or so after turning it on and off
but after a couple of weeks it started happening every few minutes until it got to the point when it would never stay on for more than 2-3 seconds.

I was told that this was a common problem and it was that the backlight that was gone. So why'd it happen just after my warranty expired, now i am going to have to pay >150 pounds for another 17" TFT Monitor
