Changing over from a CRT screen to a TFT was a very straight forward process. Literally just unplug the old one, put in a new one, wait 6 months to let the extra space fill up with junk and enjoy. Seriously though, this monitor is very good. It has built in speakers so you can play music, tv shows, movies etc without the need for other speakers. The screen relolution is best at 1280x1024 which is what im using just now. Text size is not very small as youd imagine.
