My first and current widescreen monitor, ive had it for around 2 years now and all still working fine. The screen quality is fine not brilliant. I'm possitive the old 4:3 LG tft it replaced produced much better blacks and colours. With a little tweaking you can add colour with nvidias digital vibrance too built in the drivers. Backlight can also be a issue on dark scenes you can easily see it emiting and ruining the blacks.
