... pointless as they don't work properly. To make them work, you need to have your headphones plugged in halfway to the headphone port. I don't see why they didn't just leave the speakers out! If you move the monitor slightly, then the power plug at the back of the monitor decides to make a horrible sparky type noise then the screen goes black. I got this monitor about a year ago after my previous monitor broke. The w19ev is a 19 inch widescreen monitor made by HP. At the time of buying the monitor, it was fairly cheap. I am not sure if it is still manufactured today, but for the sake of HP - I hope it isn't. The speakers are pretty much pointless as they don't work properly.
