Advantages: Fast response for gaming, rich colours for video, pictures etc.

Disadvantages: dead pixels

In the short time I've owned the L90D+ TFT monitor I am impressed with it overall. I wanted to save space in my living room and opted to wall mount a 19" TFT, my main consideration at the time was keeping the quality and response times I've grown used to with my cheap old CRT monitor, the L90D+ has a fast response time of 8ms and is great for gaming - compared with the TFTs I've used at work (mainly Dell).
The downside however is that I am on my third monitor, this is due to dead pixels (a permanent green dot on the screen). After attempting to return the monitor as faulty (again) I have been informed by my supplier that 1, 2, 3 & 4 dead pixels on ANY & ALL TFT monitors is acceptable, 5+ is a fault. They are happy to exchange time and time again but point out that I could go through the whole batch and still be no better off.
It's been a tough decision, but I have decided to live with my one green pixel this time, but I do believe that people should be made fully aware of this issue at the time of buying the product, when I spend £270 I have a right to be fussy.

Summary: All TFTs should be cheaper if quality cannot be guaranteed.
