Advantages: very good quality, great picture, large screen
Disadvantages: expensive
The W240D is a very good, if slightly expensive monitor.
The screen resolution (1920x1200) is greater than that of a HDTV. The main advantage to this is being able to have more than one window open on the desktop at once!
The monitor also looks very stylish, it has a glossy black border around the screen and a very minimalist style. The buttons are all touch sensitive and invisible unless you look really closely.
The monitor has a good refresh rate and a very low response time, meaning that moving images are smooth and the pictures do not tear as much as older TFT based monitors. The colours, contrast and brightness are also good, and they can be adjusted to a fine degree to suit your preferences.
Another useful feature of the monitor is the versatility in the positionin of the screen, it can be raised, lowered, rotated and tilted. This allows for almost any situation.
There are four different inputs available in the monitor; VGA, DVI, HDMI and component. This allows for most high resolution devices to be connected to the screen.
This monitor is a very good all-rounder, useful for playing games, watching dvds and simply browsing the web or checking emails. Once you've used a larger monitor, you won't want to go back!
Summary: A fantastic monitor, but slightly expensive
