best button a monitor could include. The resolution that it can take is a maximum of 1280x1040 which is the resolution I run it under (with an Ati 9800 Pro ). This works fine and the refresh rates are good and games like Call of Duty and Far Cry play smoothly. My problem is with the colour temperature though, I would prefer a more deep colouring (which Iiyama CRT are renown for) but this only gives washed out colours and no amount of tuning (brightness/contrast/colour temp) is going to resolve that. It is indeed a far cry from for example Sony s X-Black screen. The build quality though is marvellous, never had a problem, been always on constantly for 16 hours a day, for ...

{{{{ in A NUTSHELL}}}} A good, relatively low-priced TFT monitor with good colour and resolution. As a downside it lacks good position adjustment ””””””””””””””””””””” IN DETAIL I should start out this review by pointing out that I am no technician. My knowledge of this product is as a consumer, not an IT expert and my review is based solely on my experience of this monitor in use. Although I am a very competent user of IT related products when seeking out information to assist me in the purchase of an item of hardware I want to know how it performs on a day to day basis. The fact that it has a nth generation thingamybob with gilt edges and a whizzibit is really of ...

is wide. I have no need for that, so that was not an essential feature. So the research began.... I read many reviews all over the place, in magazines and on the internet. I finally decided on a Black Iiyama Prolite E431S. Then the challenge of finding somwhere that had them in stock started. I eventually found that scan.co.uk had a few in stock so went and ordered one. The monitor arrived well packaged, with a manual and CD, and normal monitor cable. One thing that it didn't come with was a DVI cable. I had to buy that seperately for about £7. The monitor cost £316 including VAT. The monitor clips onto it's stand, which adjusts for tilt only. It is not ...
