Iiyama Pro Lite E430-S ... the range. After this you have to update with the driver not via a simple setup install-shield but you have to update driver (which is not digitally signed, grrr MS) manually and this is only via the display properties -> Settings -> monitor and update; via system doesn't work. Anyway after much loitering with Iiyama the improvement on the picture and behaviours was....yup you guessed it: ZILCH! Well I kinda lied as now the PC says Iiyama monitor as opposed to Default monitor, suppose it is better. Iiyama Pro Lite E431S-W ... and have not found a change of the preferred resolution to be too much of a problem (I will always check sites in several screen resolutions). The blurring of images did not happen to quite the extent that I was expecting and text and graphics were perfectly readable in 800 x 600 a fairly common CRT resolution. COLOURS & IMAGE The screen colours are bright and vivid and yet not garish with the screen supporting 24-bit colour (16.7 million colours). They retain a quite natural balance although blues can be a bit bright. Iiyama Pro Lite E380S-B ... The wires were adequate without being over generous in length although I did find connection to the slim stand rather fiddly. It needed thought rather than force and the driver who brought my replacement also had trouble. The moment the screen lit I was thrilled with the clarity of text and vibrancy of colours. My present wallpaper is of "fog dragons" and my old monitor had not let me see the jewelled sides of these ethereal creatures. It was sheer magic and I shall enjoy reinstating some of my old favourites. My screensaver is "pipes" and the colours had me watching them with awe.
