The OSD is amazing and very easy, by pressing Auto/Set is configures the monitor best to your settings. It like looking at a bright light and does not hurt your eyes it inspires your eyes! a massive monitor without paying loads and loads of money then you will need to go for a CRT monitor. If on the other hand you can live with a 15 .1? screen (viewable area of a 17? CRT) then you may as well go for this LCD screen. It is one of the cheapest on the market and works like a dream. It is though £350 (PC World price), so you can get for around £200 on the web. In my opinion the extra money is definitely worth it. The better quality and modern look make this actually quite good value. There are Sony models of the same size for around £500 but this is just mad. It doesn?t perform a lot better, just better styling. I hope I haven?t confused you, like I seem to ...

screen and could not use less than 1024 X 768 display settings. I needed the 17 Inch performance from a smaller monitor. Enter the solution. At 15 .1 inch Visible Screen, this LG monitor gives you the same display as a 17 inch conventional monitor could offer you. That is absolutely superb for me. It is only just over 2 inches deep so sits nicely at the back of my alcove. It is also much lighter than a CRT. I have heard people complaining about the weight of TFTs but you must remember they still operate and contain a heavy screen. It actually tips the scales at just over 5Kg.
