Advantages: Resolution, Quality

Disadvantages: Price

The monitor has about a third the weight and depth of a conventional CRT monitor! Which makes it great if you are short on space

It has a silver bezel which makes it look that bit different and special!

This monitor can manage the resolution of 1280 x 1024 @ 75Hz, which is very good!

The monitor can accept DVI and standard Analogue signals, meaning you don't have to change your graphics card if you don't want

The power transformer is intregrated into the montor, meaning less cable mess, and means you can mount it onto the wall far easier.

The image is good in games, and DVD films... however when scrolling down pages sometimes the image 'jumps' and makes it look like your computer is slow.

I have just installed 2 of these screens in a Radan system (CAD/CAM) and they work beautifully. The only thing is that it is difficult to look over someone shoulder to see their monitor (because the picture looks different from all angles) but this is just the technology in general, not just this specific monitor.

The monitor appears to be very high quality. However the only doubts i have with the monitor is my past experiance with LG products, both a CD-Rom and a CRT monitor broke when they were just out of their warranty period. This monitor has a three year guarantee, which is a decent length of time i suppose.

The only advantage of the TFT monitor is the space saved, and there will not be x-rays emitted from the monitor (like CRT/TV) as it works on a different principle.
It is a very nice monitor, however if you do not need to save deskspace then i would suggest you buy a CRT monitor for about £200 cheeper!

I thought it was quite obvious how i stood on the item as i suggested buying a CRT monitor instead. But, I will repeat. If you need to save space, or just want a TFT monitor to look good then go for it! But if you just want a monitor, then CRT monitors still have a better
resolution, colour depth and are a lot cheaper.

Lacking alot of possiable input, what type of computer user does it appeal to? do you advise for the high price for only well off people to buy it? or its it quality so high that it is good for people wanting to use CAD? why do you doubt lg products? why get a crt monitor if its so much more expensive then why is this it must have some advatanges to the older models? I dont really know where you stand on the product you say it looks high quality but you would buy cheaper, so is it a good product for its price? lack detail cover every aspect, if you re-write leave a comment in what ever my latest review is and ill re-mark.
