Advantages: Value for money, quality display, nice looks

Disadvantages: Not as small (space saving) as modern screens

I bought this product from ebuyer.com a few years ago and at the time it was about the best value for money screen I could find. As I remember, it cost me £200 which I thought was reasonable for a 17'' TFT monitor.

Luckily on arrival the screen had no dead pixels which seems to happen from time to time on LCD products. The screen was easy to setup, just plug and play with Windows XP.

The screen is very crisp and provides a very clear image when displaying normal icons as well as pictures. The 12ms response time ensures the screen is able to display movies in high quality too with lag between frames.

The screen has been extremely reliable, never once having any issues within the last 3 years and I expect it to carry on for another number of years. It is definitely well built and lives up to LG's quality screen reputation.

As the screen is a bit outdated now, it is relatively large in size compared to newer TFT screens, namely the base and the depth of the screen. If space saving is your ultimate goal then this probably isn't your best choice but if value for money is what you're after this is definitely a wise choice!
