I bought this lcd monitor approx. two years ago and I'm still happy with my decision. I use it for work and for gaming.
There is no lag when playing games. No cords, no flickering. But you have to buy a decent graphics card so you can play your favorite games in high resolution. Widescreen causes more load than a monitor with 4:3 aspect ratio.
Well, I'm not a professional graphic artist, but for my needs (that's a little GIMP and web-design), there nothing I can complain about. The colors look bright an clear. The monitor seems quite color fidelity.
One nice feature is a quick key to switch between cold and warm colors. I find that really comfortable when reading a longer text on screen. Especially reading is an easy hob with this monitor. There is no single blurred pixel.
Your eyes will not fatigue while reading.
Have a look at the tech specs. There true :)
I used to play the new Lara Croft game in coop-mode, so both players do not sit right in front of the monitor. We didn't mention any change in the colors.
Plug in and use. There is an auto adjust button for analog input, digital input via DVI is adjusted automatically.
I don't have any pixel errors. I ran the test multiple time and there is no single error, not even a sub-pixel error. That great quality!
There exists a successor, maybe you want to have a look at it. I think the difference is in the contrast ratio.
