A couple of years ago, a 22" monitor would have cost you £400 - £500. Today some of the top range ones still cost in the region of £400 but luckily prices have come down for middle and low range monitors. I picked up the LG W2242S-PF for £115 from Tesco. Even on the popular web sites, the prices being quoted were £150 upwards. Had I bought a dud?! Fear not, it turned out to be a damn good purchase. Inside the box, you get an installation CD (which is pointless as you can download the latest driver from LG), a manual, VGA and power cables, the monitor stand and of course, the monitor itself. The monitor is surprisingly very light but the stand is solid. Assembly was ...

Rating:
Consumption: 45 W Size: 509X206X431 mm Weight: 4.7 kg PREGI - The cost is not prohibitive for a monitor of the LG (Euro 143) - Police monitors from 22 .. seems never to end! - Beautiful with keys that are barely - Led blue very chic! DEFECTS - Explanations in Italian .. but in Ukrainian! - No DVI output (digital output that makes the colors more vivid) - No switch that makes it possible to attach 2 computers on one monitor CONCLUSIONS Certainly not like the PC monitor in the bedroom paid Euro 400 (not come and ask me why, probably will have a feature that makes the coffee) but I think a good monitor, especially suited to work with graphs and charts. Bello also ...

there is the atrocious picture quality when watching freeview. No matter how much configuring you do, you ll simply be left with rubbish colours and blotchy, blocky images. As mentioned in the other review, when watching from a fair distance it isn t so bad but when sitting in close proximity to the screen, you re bound to notice. Another problem I had with this monitor was the fact that while in PC Mode when I decided to watch a movie or play a game that had dark scenes or backgrounds the monitor would annoyingly dim. I managed to sort this problem out by toggling with the graphical settings on my computer. The sound is canny and lacks clarity. I use the clear voice ...
