for gaming and no blur is detectable when watching video playback. The 22" screen size is fantastic, especially when you are working with documents or large spreadsheets. The LG monitor was easy to assemble from the box and the bundled software makes it a cinch to fine tune as well as the easy to locate and use front panel buttons. I wanted it replaced before the poor thing died on me. Secondly, I m considering building myself a new PC (or buying one) at the end of the year and in order to spread the cost out a little, I wanted to buy a new monitor now.
