This is the first new moniter i have bought for many years after having a Sandisk SD screen. Its quite a step up and it's clear the technology is much better. I use it as a screen for my desktop PC and my PS3 and works great for both these things. I have an ariel but so far havn't been able to get it to work beacuse of the bad freeview signal in my area so nothing to do with the screen. It does have an internal ariel but again i wouldnt know how well it works. It's a very easy screen to set up out of the box and took me about 5 minutes to get my PC and PS3 working.

The screen is a nice 22" and like all LG products has a good looking case that doesn't intrude too much. I have limited space under my desk but this screen fits in nicely with room to spare but it does tend to collect dust. As far as connectivity goes it has two HDMI ports, a component and composite video, one SCART port, a USB port, PC input and a headphone jack so plenty to plug in all your electronics. The screen also has dolby digital sourround X which gives the screen satisfactory sound quality but if you really care about your sound then i reccomend you invest in some speakers as no TV speakers are ever going to be better than buying seperate.

The picture quality is nice and crisp with a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio and there is little glare in sunlight. It comes 1080p HD ready and it works very quickly with no lag unlike my old screen which is good for playing PS3. At around £150, average price for the screen, it is also good value for money considering the amount of inputs and other features it comes with. Definetly a purchase i don't regret.
