Rating:
are looking for a space saving model. The base lets the screen be adjusted slightly in height but mainly in forward and backward lean. The screen displays a nice crisp image for both computer icons and images. Thankfully there were no dead pixels on the screen upon delivery. The 12ms response time ensure an ejoyable, fluid viewing of movies. The screen displays a great colour depth and has a great brightness, it performs very well in bright rooms. The screen does not have a glossy finish which I prefer as it prevents an annoying reflection from lights and windows etc. In my opinion this is a top performing screen but it is let down on its actual ...

and at the time it was about the best value for money screen I could find. As I remember, it cost me £200 which I thought was reasonable for a 17 TFT monitor. Luckily on arrival the screen had no dead pixels which seems to happen from time to time on LCD products. The screen was easy to setup, just plug and play with Windows XP. The screen is very crisp and provides a very clear image when displaying normal icons as well as pictures. The 12ms response time ensures the screen is able to display movies in high quality too with lag between frames. The screen has been extremely reliable, never once having any issues within the last 3 years and I expect it to carry on ...

Rating:
It struggles to look good next to my 22" Samsung connected via DVI, but you wouldn t expect it to. Despite being 3 years old, positively ancient in computing terms, the monitor still holds its own in its looks. Poor elements of the screen include a lack of vertical height adjustment and a distinctly average viewing angle. If privacy at work is an issue, this would be a good monitor for you. I would never suggest buying this monitor as your first choice monitor, but if you want a secondary monitor for keeping e-mails/outlook/iTunes open on, then this is as good as any, and given its age, is likely available for ...
