I bought the LG W2361V LCD Monitor to make myself a Christmas present in 2009. This was the best price for a monitor with these specifications in my region. I have to say I am really impressed with the quality. And although I expected something "worse", I was really surprised. The quality at 1080p is just amazing. Modern Warfare 2, Crysis, L4D2 and all the next-gen first person shooters look absolutely amazing on maxed out graphics (without anti-aliasing) on a old GeForce 8800GT 512MB XFX. I haven't had even one bad pixel when I bought it, and I have to say, I dropped the case on my way home (laughing out loud). The options provided integrated in the monitor's software are really flexible, and with the support of HDMI, what more can you ask. If you are a next-gen gamer like me, you would absolutely love the fact that you can connect your PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 directly into your 23 inch LCD LG monitor without buying an expensive Plasma TV. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 games look really stunning on the LG W2361V. One problem with this monitor is the annoying power off/on button. When I first put it on my desk, I watched it like 20 minutes trying to discover from where exactly I switch it on. After I switched it on, I decided to push it a little further from my eyes, my finger sledded on top of the button and turned it off, and so you can find yourself accidently turning it off and on from time to time.
By supporting Full HD resolution with 1920 x 1080 pixels, the ideal conditions for 16:9, LG W2361V reproduces myriads of images - from the minute movements of insects to thrilling 3D game - in rich colors and elaborates detail.
Your game zone will be perfected by the LG W2361V's glossy body, rounded edges, and eye - catching transparent color bar.
