LG L1730S ... bought this product from ebuyer.com a few years ago and at the time it was about the best value for money screen I could find. As I remember, it cost me £200 which I thought was reasonable for a 17 TFT monitor. Luckily on arrival the screen had no dead pixels which seems to happen from time to time on LCD products. The screen was easy to setup, just plug and play with Windows XP. The screen is very crisp and provides a very clear image when displaying normal icons as well as pictures. The 12ms response time ensures the screen is able to display movies in high quality too with lag between frames. The screen has been extremely reliable, never once having any issues w... LG L225WS ... got this monitor free with a gaming pc which I was going to use to play flight simulators. After over a year of hard service in a teenage boys bedroom, it is still going strong. There is still the same high quality picture as it had when I bought it. In fact, I was so happy with this monitor that about 9 months ago, I bought yet another of these to create a larger windows desktop. It was so easy to set up even to those who know nothing about monitors. Just plug it in and press the auto/set button and it sets itself up. LG W2042T-SF ... in August 2007 I purchased my computer and was supplied with a bog standard 18inch TFT monitor, I don t even know what make it was as the box it came in was not labeled. At the beginning of this year the monitor started to become very hard to turn on, I would have to press the power button for up to five minutes before the screen worked so it was time to purchase a new monitor.
