LG 563LE ... this monitor was my X-Mas present and what I think of it is just amazing. When I first started it up my operating system detected my display and the colours were truely amazing it was very realistic and I got this monitor for £179.99 as it was a display monitor. I was bedazzled from the effects is produced from pictures and games and can see many more colours than ever before. There are two resolution settings; 800x600 and 1024x768. I use 1024x768 and cleartype font smoothing should be enabled to read text on an LCD monitor. The build of the monitor is excellent it looks alright to view and doesnt take much space up at all. LG 570LS ... know me by now and my love for flatties. Yes, the new breed of monitor that is sweeping the world into a 2D Frenzy. No one knows what to fill their desk with now that the CRTs and being removed in favour of the TFTs. Well like all things in life, Monitors come in either Cheap or expensive form. Like most things in life, you can normally get as good a cheap one as an expensive one! That applies to the excellent LG range of monitors. LG have been around for about 2 or 3 years pumping out cheap PC extras under the PC World/Comet/Currys/Dixons umbrella. This includes other components such as CR Writers and DVD ROM Drives. LG 563LE ... I?ll explain my current situation. I have decided to have a go at building my own PC, I know how to do it all and I have just started ordering the components for it. I came to purchasing the monitor and had intended on going for a big 19? Iiyama Vision Master Pro 451 CRT (this is basically the type of monitor you are likely to have, with a ?tube? at the back) monitor. I looked at the dimensions of it and realised that it was going to take up over 45cms on my desk, which is a lot on my small desk.
