The NEC SpectraView 2180 particularly impresses with its brilliant picture quality. The color range of the NEC SpectraView monitors covers the major part of the printable color space and allows excellent reproduction of the previously critical cyan range. The latest-generation IPS panels provide a large viewing angle of 176 degrees horizontally and vertically at a contrast ratio of 10: 1. The optimum prerequisites for hardware color calibration are satisfied by a maximum light intensity of 250 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 500: 1. There are therefore sufficient reserves available for a calibrated light intensity of 170 cd/m2. With its rapid response time of 25 milliseconds, the SpectraView 2180 is also ideally suited for professional users from the video animation area.
