I have had this monitor for about 6months now and it cost me £110. I was looking for a new monitor to replace my old CRT one. I looked at many made by more well known brands and then noticed that this one seemed to be much more reasonably priced. In the store, the sales assistant set it up against many other big-branded monitors and this monitor seemed to just as good. The fact that it is not a widescreen did not bother me as I mainly use my computer for the internet, PC games and wordprocessing - and all the widescreen seems to do is stretch these. I have also watched many TV shows I have missed on the internet and the picture quality has been good (Although not as good as a TV). If you wish to watch films on it, you may also want to look at a widescreen. I have never had any problems with this screen, it comes on straight away everytime and the picture quality is always good. I have not had a problem with even a single pixcel! The screen is also visable from a variety of angles unlike laptop screens and some other monitors.
AG Neovo F-419.
This has to be the best monitor i've ever personally used. I play in online gaming tournements and leagues and this one monitor has lasted me over 6 years while gaming, and i've not ONCE had a problem with it. Never once has it gone out of sync, had a dead pixel or two or refused to turn on. It's reliablity is outstanding and has been built to last.
Whats it like price wise? Well, 6 years ago when I bought it, it cost me a steep £200, which is quite expensive now as you can get a much bigger monitor for under that thesedays. However I still don't to this day regret one single penny. It costs around the £100-£120 mark now, which is an absolute bargain for the quality this monitor provides.
It's 19" and comes in Black with a very sturdy yet sleek stand to keep it on and has only a minimal amount of buttons. It has an auto feature which configures all of the settings for you when you first plug it in (it's plug and play of course) and also a manual feature, which after it has automaticcaly set everything up for you, you can just tweek it to change the small little bits suited to your own style. I prefer to modify it a little and have it my own way.
It has both digital and analogue configurations, an astounding 4ms response time for gamers, a 3 years manufacturers warrenty and DVI/VGA. The clips for the stand also just detatch, allowing it to be wallmounted with ease.
The monitor is not very bulky at all, it's very slim and looks good. I really cannot fault it, if anything were to happen to mine i would probably replace it with the same model, it really is that good.
If you're a gamer and looking for a screen in the 19" range, then seriously go for this one, you will not look back. The 4ms response time is perfect for gaming and is extremly quick, especially in busy games like COD, CounterStrike, World of Warcraft etc.
I cannot praise it any more really. It's been perfect all of the time i've had it and I hope it keeps going forever.
