mainly use my laptop but I do have a pc also and the best thing about it over my laptop is the bigger screen. The monitor I use is a 19 inch Philips or to give it it`s full title the Philips 190CW7CS. Most of what I do on my laptop I also do on my pc but there are a few things I do on my pc that I do not do on the laptop, the main one would be watching DVD`s and also watching TV through my TV tuner. This monitor gives really clear and colourful pictures when watching TV or DVD`s and is also very good for gaming although that is something I do a lot less of. On removing this monitor from its packaging on the day of purchase the most surprising thing for me was how ...

Rating:
It has a max resolution of 1280 x 1024 / 75 Hz, which is good enough for a 19 inch display. It has a contrast ratio of 700:1, which is very good at this price limit. One good feature for environment friendly users is that it is lead free and consumes very little power i.e. 34 Watts. It has certain controls in which you can adjust contrast, brightness etc. It has a viewing angle of 176°/170°. it has also a security lock to prevent theft. It has also got some advance features as Smart Manage. It also has a warranty of 3 years. In short, this display is impressive. I liked it a lot and strongly recommend it to other ...

Another use I have for my pc is one we all have I am sure, the simple act of browsing the web. Until I got my hands on this 19 inch monitor I honestly didn t realise just how bright and attractive some websites actually are. The fact that you can see the whole page in Chrystal clear colour rather than having to scroll to the side as I did with my 15 inch dell monitor which didn t display the colours nearly as well really makes a big difference. I also find that when I was viewing pages with video ads and the likes on my old dell monitor they could be very pixelated but no longer do I suffer that with this Philips monitor which I guess is again down to response time ...
