The DPP500 is a Direct Digital display that utilizes the PanelLink (TMDS) digital standard so the signal remains digital from the computer to the display. The result is crisp, clear images without perceptible noise or misfocus. Without the need for an analog-to-digital converter, the DPP500 costs the same or less than most comparable analog panels in its class for a reduced Total Cost of Ownership (T.C.O.) over the monitor's life span.
