I bought this montior when I saw it going cheap on ebuyer in 2009 (£125). As soon as I opened the box I realised that it was a quality product! I love the samsung style (I have recently bought a 37" Samsung tv that looks very similar). I do a lot of photo editing on my Pc this monitor provides the best colour presentation I have ever seen. I also use it for gaming and find that the 2ms response time is very adequate. I have never suffered from ghosting etc. The 20" size is perfect for me as the screen as has enough detail witht e high resolution. I would recommedn that you connect it via DVi rather than VGA (RGB) as the details is massivley increased. The only slight negative is that the black glossy surroundings of the monitor does seem to attract dust! Apart from that I would recommend the monitor to anyone!
I've had this monitor for over a year now and it still looks as good as it did when I bought it - very stylish, though the gloss black finish does seem to attract the dust! Bought after many hours of searching through various websites comparing specifications, prices and 'looks' and have not been disappointed since the day I took it out of the box. The 3000:1 contrast ratio help make images very clear though if you are viewing the screen from below (lying on the bed and the monitor is on a higher desk) the screen image does darken so you need to be viewing at a level equivalent to or slightly higher to maximise the picture quality. On another note, although the 2ms works fine for graphics whilst browsing or gaming, when viewing TV pictures (if your pc has a TV card or you have a TV tuner USB stick - this does not have a built-in tuner!) there is a bit of slight 'lag' especially if watching football, etc.
Even with those couple of niggles I don't think I could have made a better choice than this Samsung.
