Advantages: Brilliant all rounder

Disadvantages: Bit bulky, but why buy a 20"+ screen if you're concerned about size?

I bought this monitor in 2005 when I built my current PC.

It's a great bit of kit, quite stylish and plenty of adjustment for your preference. Turn it on, and the picture is crisp with great colour distinction. The menu is easy to navigate and comes with a couple of nice extras to change the colour intensity and default colour settings to make the screen appear 'warmer' (slightly more yellow) or 'colder' (slightly more blue). This comes in quite handy depending on what you're doing, as it takes the edge off some of the bright colours if you set it the warm setting, but makes everything a lot crisper in the cold setting.

It has a good range of height adjustment and good swivel range also. Particularly useful as I have a very low desk at university but a very high desk back home so I can adjust the monitor accordingly. The swivel action is very smooth.

The viewing angles are pretty good too, you have to be almost side on for the image on the screen to start phasing out, handy if there are a lot of you looking at something.

I would definately reccomend this or any Samsung unit as they are exceptionally well built and produce great quality pictures
