Advantages: two inputs, simple to use, good picture
Disadvantages: poor quality stand
This monitor was originally bought as a replacement for an older 17" LCD panel and what a difference!
The picture quality is excellent for computing use with what looks like a great colour range and sharpness.
The option of two inputs is handy (one DVI and one d-sub RGB) for multiple computers. I current have an iMac and an old Mac G4 tower unit plugged into it. Switching between these inputs is simple, and usually works automatically if you're only using one of the machines at once.
As with many monitors, it'll take a little calibration to get it working just right... out of the box it does a good job, but does need a little tweaking, especially if you intend it to match another monitor or machine.
The weak point for this particular monitor is it's stand. Whilst it seems reasonably good quality at first, my monitor developed a tendency to 'sag' a little, meaning the up/down tilt of the stand would keep falling to the down tilt. This isn't too much of a problem for me as the monitor is on a stand, but it would be something I would recommend other potential users to watch out for.
Overall, it's a good monitor for the price and will be good enough for most people.
Summary: A good work-a-day monitor marred by a not so great stand.
