After having a bog standard square LCD monitor for our second PC that was mediocre I decided to buy this 24" screen beauty, firstly after unpacking you will need to attach the base to the actually monitor which is easily done although best done with the help of someone for safety reasons.

As stated in the description you have a DVI-D and VGA connection but NO HDMI, so for those of us who like the maximum performance you may consider another monitor especially if you have a upper - top range GFX card with HDMI compatibility.

This monitor comes with a driver CD that you can install for your pc but likewise is plug and play, you can also download the drivers from the internet if you lose the drier CD.

For performance, this monitor is great with the 50000:1 (dynamic) and a lightning fast screen refresh rate everything looks vivid, sharp and vibrant and makes gaming that much better to play.

The only issue I find with this monitor is that it get quite hot after prolonged usage compared to other LCD monitors that I have used in the past, apart from that this is a brilliant buy.
