on a monitor (probably less by now). The monitor is really clear and crisp when reading either text documents or the internet and also provides pretty good performance in games. It can sometimes be a little bit jaggedy on the edges but nothing that has ever stopped me from reading/viewing something. There is a reasonable amount of adjustment with the settings but i must confess i wish there was a little more. Sometimes whilst playing games (CSS, de_train in particular) i wish i could add more contrast. me to this product. One is the price and at £140 from play.com it is a reasonable price. Secondly I am a big fan of Samsung. As you can see in earlier reviews I own both a Samsung TV and a Samsung DVD player. Itseemed only right to have a monitor aswel! I do a lot of gaming on the PC and for that I like to be closer to the screen rather than using my TV as a computer monitor. For these purposes it is ideal to have a decent monitor. This model is 19" which is slightly bigger than your average monitor (Which I would say is 17") Being 19" it is big enough to give a better piture but still retains a certain amount of compactability so that it does not take up ...

entire other screen empty and hence able to be used to display the document I was working on, allowing me much more room for zooming etc etc. It also helped in ways I had not thought about. While tidying files and sorting out my files and folders on the computer, it was also amazinginly helpful. I could have two instances of Windows explorer open, one on each screen, allowing me to have one showing the folder I wanted to put things in and the other I oculd use to find the files I wanted, it was then a simple case of dragging items between the two rather than having to switch between windows etc when using a single monitor. It made multi-tasking so much easier, any task ...
