I think Samsung are widely regarded as market leaders in TV's, however until recently I hadn't have the used one of the LCD TFT Monitors. I have often thought that the TV sets are very aesthetically pleasing and the LCD monitors are no different. Now to some of the nitty gritty - I use this monitor on a daily basis to monitor to check over servers in the office. The picture quality is excellent and I have tested streaming video on this monitor which is also excellent. The monitor was very easy to set up, simply take it out the box and plug it in, there were no additional drivers which required to be installed. I do like this monitor, however, the pixel ratio isn't the best and this is due to it being a widescreen monitor. If I was to using this monitor all day for word processing and the like then I think there are better options on the market for a similar price, if not a little cheaper, Acer monitors for example. With this Samsung monitor you can at times get a bit of a letterbox effect, which isn't great for doing your day to day work on. Other than this, it gets a thumbs up from me!
